About the Marketing Team


To date, marketing activities have been conducted by our brand manager, customer communications manager and other non-specialist roles within Metapraxis and external agencies. Recent sales and marketing investment enables this opportunity, where the successful candidate will be able to shape the development of the Marketing Team within this exciting marketplace.

 

Head of Marketing – Role Summary


As Head of Marketing, you will accelerate our revenue growth and build brand value within our large enterprise global accounts. The successful candidate will lead the transition from our current lead generation process to an account-based marketing model, aligning sales and marketing activities around engagement and relationship building, for both UK and US opportunities.

In this role you will be responsible for strengthening our value proposition and brand differentiation within the market, so that both prospects and channel partners have a deeper understanding of how Metapraxis adds value and the barriers we have overcome to set us apart.

 

Reporting directly to the CEO, the successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Sales (to be recruited) and the wider senior leadership team to define and execute on the 3-year growth plan that underpins Metapraxis’ core business strategy. To succeed in this role, you will have a keen eye for detail, a creative mind, be adept at data analysis, and passionate about finance. You will have demonstrated your ability to grow revenues in a technology led B2B environment using account-based marketing.

 

Principle Responsibilities


You will be tasked with day-to-day marketing ownership across new business acquisition and account management. As part of this you will be responsible for managing the marketing team (currently two roles) and building a cross-functional team of people focused on marketing activities from within sales and delivery. Responsibilities include:

  • Shared responsibility for achieving revenue targets
  • Evolution and management of the definition of ‘what makes Metapraxis special’ in the eyes of current customers, prospects and channel partners
  • Roll out of account-based marketing, targeted at global large enterprise accounts whose head office is in the UK or US
  • Enhancement of our website presence, incorporating dynamic web content aligned to the ABM strategy
  • Creation of high-quality content for lead engagement, sales progression, account management and within SEO, PPC, LinkedIn and social media campaigns
  • Generation of operational and executive-level management information
  • Implementation of a best-in-class CRM and marketing automation capability
  • Management of all marketing data, including GDPR compliance, acquisition, quality standards and duplications
  • Passionate and effective at representation of Metapraxis in the market, such as on Webinars, at trade shows and industry specific networking events
  • Management of the Marketing Team

The role will support both our London and New York teams. Support Provided


The successful candidate will be supported by both internal and external resources as we roll out a new CRM and marketing automation platform. Including:

  • Sponsorship and management from the CEO
  • Target market definition and competitor positioning from the CPO and Product Managers
  • Customer engagement and feedback form the Client Services leads
  • Coaching and support from senior advisers as needed
  • External agency support for PR and/or lead generation


Professional Experience


Our ideal candidate will have extensive account-based marketing experience and a working knowledge of the three principal types of ABM, along with an understanding of when to deploy them. Demonstrable use of tiers and relevant KPIs will also be an advantage.


Specifically, we are looking for experience in the following areas:

  • Brand building capabilities through an effective differentiation strategy
  • Identifying market trends, building sector and competitor intelligence, and using that to refine the sales proposition.
  • Implementation of a recognised account-based marketing model, evidenced by results
  • Leadership and development of a high performing cross functional marketing capability, ideally in a B2B environment
  • Interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to build relationship
